Problem: The British public doesn’t relate to climate change campaigns.

Insight: Chips are the UK’s favourite food.

Solution: Put climate change into perspective by taking people’s chips away.



Wildfires, flooding and polar bears… climate change needs to be scaled down and localised to gain attention from a desensitised audience.


Greenpeace will form an alliance with local chippies. Taking away the nation’s chips to replicate the very real effects of crop failure. Proving no one is immune to the effects of climate change. Chip shops up and down the country will become hubs for climate activism.


There’s more to the climate crisis than chips, but it’s a good place to start.
